Thi s Saturday I attended the 2013 Homeownership Summit in Lawrenceville, GA. This event was open to the public and it was FREE!  Even as an experienced agent, I came away with pages of notes so I can only image the insight gained by others. The attendance was good, but not nearly as many homebuyers as I would of imaged.  The old adage, KNOWLEDGE IS POWER could never be more true. I have spoken with people looking to buy and have no clue about the buying process and then others on the opposite side of the spectrum who needed mortgage assistance, sought the wrong advice, were scammed, and lost their home.
